Gilt bronze, just over 7/8” in height plus the suspension loop. Raised edge beams with a scalloped halo and radials at the junction. Central relief vacant cross with the charges and footrest delineated in high relief. Reverse inscription panels, partially obscured.  Light wear and surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and on an 18” modern gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with Certificate of Authenticity. Rare early example.
