Bronze, originally plated, with rounded face band, 3.8mm flaring slightly to the stepped shoulders. Circular bezel cut with a quatrefoil motif, probably a reference to the cross. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.30 for a similar example described as Northern Europe, 15th-17th century. Untouched as found condition. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
